What’s Standing Between You and the Yes?

No speaking fee ($0)
KeynoteUnder 1 hourIn person or virtual
For entrepreneurs and business owners, CEOs and senior executives, and general corporate audiences.

Drawing on experience as an investor, CEO, and founder advisor. Vicki explores why seemingly strong proposals stall and what earns conviction across the table. Through live audience votes on short business scenarios and guided discussion, participants examine what would make them say yes, say no, or ask for more evidence.

  • Understand what investors, partners, and other decision makers need to believe before they commit.
  • Recognize the difference between generating interest and earning a decision.
  • Identify the unanswered question that could be holding back their own proposal.

A Good Business. But Would You Invest?

Custom quote
WorkshopHalf dayIn person or virtual
For entrepreneurs and business owners, CEOs and senior executives, next-generation leaders, and general corporate audiences.

Participants become the investment committee, working in small groups to assess three contrasting businesses, question their assumptions, and decide which, if any, they would fund. They then use AI to challenge their decisions, before debating which objections are meaningful, which are generic, and which require verification, guided by Vicki’s experience as an investor, CEO, and advisor. Finally, participants apply the approach to their own business or supplied case, exchange feedback, and develop a practical action plan.

  • Distinguish a business that can succeed from an investment that makes sense for a particular investor.
  • evaluate an opportunity through its potential return, risks, needs, and timing.
  • build an action plan to address the gaps that could prevent their own business from attracting investment.
