The Problem Might Be Sitting at the Head of the Table

Custom quote
Keynote1 to 2 hoursIn person or virtual
For CEOs and senior executives and boards and nonprofit leaders.

Organizations spend enormous amounts of time trying to fix culture, performance, and engagement. But what happens when the biggest barrier to progress is the executive team itself?

Drawing on decades inside global organizations, I'll explore how leadership behavior, groupthink, and the absence of honest debate shape business outcomes.

  • How to recognize when executive culture is holding the business back.
  • Practical ways to encourage dissent, debate, and stronger decision-making.
  • How to move from leadership alignment for appearances to real accountability.

Resilience Isn't About Being Unbreakable. It's About Knowing When You're Not.

Custom quote
Keynote1 to 2 hoursIn person or virtual
For entrepreneurs and business owners, CEOs and senior executives, executive peer groups, next-generation leaders, general corporate audiences, and boards and nonprofit leaders.

We've built a leadership culture that rewards endurance, celebrates overwork, and treats vulnerability as a liability. But there's a difference between being resilient and simply surviving. I've spent decades navigating high-pressure executive roles while managing the very real challenges that don't disappear when you walk into the boardroom. I've learned that resilience isn't about pushing through everything. It's about recognizing when something needs to change, knowing when to ask for help, and understanding that your identity is bigger than your job title. This session brings an honest, practical perspective to mental health, leadership pressure, and the importance of building a life that can withstand change.

  • How to recognize the difference between genuine resilience and unhealthy endurance.
  • Why high-performing leaders often struggle to recognize when they're approaching their limits.
  • Practical ways to navigate setbacks, uncertainty, and major life or career transitions without losing their sense of self

About Kristine

Sometimes all it takes is a slight turn of the kaleidoscope to see an entirely different picture. The pieces haven’t changed, but the way we see them has. This is often true in business, leadership, and life.

I’ve spent more than 25 years moving between manufacturing floors, executive suites, and boardrooms, learning that the best solutions don’t always come from the most obvious places. Sometimes it’s a matter of stepping back, challenging an assumption, or listening to someone who sees things differently.

I’m an executive, attorney, board director, founder of Shattered Glass Advisory, and someone who genuinely enjoys people, solving problems, and figuring out how to make things better.

I bring professional experience, personal perspective, curiosity, and humor to conversations about leadership, culture, transformation, resilience, and mental health. I’ve learned as much from the unexpected turns in life as I have from the people I’ve worked alongside.

I believe in honest conversations, thoughtful questions, different perspectives, and being willing to change our minds.

The pieces don’t always need to change. Sometimes we just need a different perspective to see what’s possible,
and the willingness to do something about it.
